Role Summary:
Responsible for providing specialized nursing care in interventional radiology, vascular, and medical imaging procedures. Functions under the Site Manager’s guidance, performing clinical procedures requiring independent judgment, critical thinking, and technical proficiency. Delivers patient-centered care tailored to age-specific needs, including pre- and post-procedure care, administering contrast and conscious sedation, and maintaining sterile techniques. Collaborates with physicians, ensures patient safety through verification protocols, and maintains departmental records to meet regulatory standards. Assists in training staff and supports quality improvement initiatives. Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in interventional radiology or cath labs, with proficiency in moderate sedation. Must hold current BLS, ACLS certifications, and an RN license. Skills include strong interpersonal, communication, and emergency response abilities, along with computer literacy and time management skills.
