Role: Registered Nurse in the Float Pool supporting multiple units to deliver exceptional patient care with compassion, clinical expertise, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based, compassionate nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Manage complex clinical situations with critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Administer medications and perform safety checks diligently.
- Educate and empower patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery.
- Prioritize safety by verifying patient identities, following protocols, and documenting accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact); BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years recent Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Fluent in English; collaborative, patient-first approach.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
