We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a corrections setting, responsible for providing patient care in both hospital and jail units, with the ability to float between locations. The role involves working day or night shifts, typically 36 hours per week, and requires at least 1 year of recent experience in corrections or acute hospital care (ICU/ED/MS).
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering quality nursing care to inmates and hospital patients
- Adapting to different healthcare environments within correctional and hospital settings
- Maintaining compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- Current LPN license (West Virginia or Compact)
- Updated resume, BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross), and a valid driver’s license
- Experience in corrections or hospital acute care within the past 3 years
