We are seeking a full-time Thoracic Surgeon to join a dedicated cancer care team.
Responsibilities include: performing a wide range of thoracic surgical procedures, focusing on lung and esophageal surgeries, with an emphasis on Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery. The surgeon will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Radiation and Medical Oncologists, Pulmonologists, and Gastroenterologists to provide coordinated, comprehensive patient care. The role involves contributing to quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes and patient safety.
Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility in thoracic surgery with certification within two years, Michigan medical license, DEA license, and BLS certification.
