Role: Respiratory Therapist providing patient evaluation and respiratory care services.
Responsibilities: Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer prescribed treatments, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families about health conditions. Maintain and calibrate equipment, respond to medical emergencies, and ensure safety standards are met. Participate in departmental inventory management and adhere to policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s degree or equivalent; no prior experience required. Must hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), and Respiratory Care Practitioner license or acknowledgment as per state requirements. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements; keen observation skills for patient assessment.
Key Duties: Evaluate and treat respiratory patients, monitor outcomes, and maintain equipment. Respond to emergencies, provide patient education, and work in a safe, alert manner. Flexibility for night shifts and availability for additional shifts with differentials.
