This role is a temporary RN position offering a 90-day assignment with potential for full-time employment based on performance and unit needs.
Responsibilities include: providing safe, high-quality patient care across various specialties such as medical/surgical, telemetry, critical care, behavioral health, emergency, or women’s services. RNs are assigned to a single unit for a set period and must work at any location within the system.
Qualifications: a minimum of two years of experience in Med-Surg, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), current licensure, and relevant certifications.
Skills required: excellent communication, customer service, conflict resolution, critical thinking, computer literacy, and specialty-specific training. Additional certifications like NIH Stroke Scale, Cardiac Dysrhythmia, and CPI are required or preferred. The role demands adaptable, skilled nurses capable of interpreting patient needs and modifying care accordingly.
