We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to perform insurance verification, ensure accurate patient demographic and insurance information, and verify precertifications and authorizations for scheduled services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying healthcare coverage and benefits, working with patients, providers, and payers
- Assisting patients with financial obligations and sharing information with financial counseling
- Partnering with clinical, billing, and registration teams to review authorizations and maintain accurate documentation
- Providing excellent customer service and escalating issues as needed
- Maintaining current knowledge of insurance processes and contributing to team performance
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an office, customer service, or call center setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Preferred qualifications:
- Over a year of Patient Access experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
- Experience with overnight schedules is a plus
