Role: Surgical Technician
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure quality patient care by maintaining a sterile field and monitoring procedural safety.
- Verify surgery details, prepare the operating room, and pass instruments to surgeons.
- Perform counts, prepare sterile dressings, and secure dressings post-operation.
- Check supplies and equipment, set up sterile tables, and assist with room turnover and sterilization of instruments.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate Degree or Surgical Technology Certificate (required).
- Relevant acute care experience (preferred).
- Certification from National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- CPR certification (preferred).
Additional Requirements: Commitment to safety and compliance with vaccination policies; ability to prepare and sterilize instruments; teamwork and attention to detail in sterile procedures.
