Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in the Intensive Care Units, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient care with a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities: Conducts assessments, develops, and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, and documents care activities. Collaborates with healthcare team members, provides patient and family education, and ensures safety protocols are followed. Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition, manages specialized care such as restraints and pain, and reports incidents per policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid RN licensure in applicable states, minimum one year of RN experience, BLS and ALS certifications, and adherence to infection control and safety standards. Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, effective communication, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Additional Duties: Supports quality improvement initiatives, participates in staff education, maintains a safe environment, and delivers respectful, courteous service to patients and families. Emphasizes evidence-based practice, cost-effective resource use, and compliance with hospital policies.
