Role: Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Responsibilities: Conducts MRI scans, utilizing advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. May need to complete additional training such as the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) MRI Cross-Trainer if not already registered. Ensures accurate imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Preferably experienced MRI technologists with completion of an accredited MRI program.
- Advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility preferred.
- At least one year of experience in Radiology or MRI departments advantageous.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is a plus.
- Must pass ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT advanced examination within one year of employment.
- Current BLS certification required.
