Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily mammography, with potential cross training in bone density.
Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment, perform studies independently including portable exams and on-call situations, ensure quality control, and eventually become registered as a breast sonographer.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or trade school education, licensure in Illinois (IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, etc.), CPR, and IV therapy certifications preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
Key Duties: Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and adhere to procedural protocols.
