We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor with a master’s degree in social services or a related field to join an emergency/acute care clinical team. The role involves providing psychiatric risk assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and supporting patients and families in Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments.
Qualifications include:
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in social services, psychology, or related field
- Alaska licensure (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Therapist, Counselor) upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification within 30 days
- At least 3 years of clinical mental health experience
