Role Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and upholds the organization’s mission, values, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and plan individualized care.
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with clinical standards.
- Evaluate and improve the quality of care provided.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient rights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the state or applicable compact license.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or ability to obtain within probation.
- ACLS and BLS certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
