Registered Nurse – Full-Time, Evening

Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care by applying evidence-based nursing practices in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, prioritizes nursing care, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Delivers direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety standards.
  • Evaluates patient responses, revises care plans as needed, and documents progress accurately.
  • Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and promoting participation in care.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with the healthcare team for seamless care transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), with a valid RN license.
  • Minimum of one year RN experience or completion of a recognized nurse residency program; LPN experience may be accepted for internal candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Additional Details: This is a non-management role requiring flexibility for evening shifts, with responsibilities including documentation, supervision of delegated tasks, and participation in performance improvement activities.
