Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care by applying evidence-based nursing practices in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, prioritizes nursing care, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Delivers direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety standards.
- Evaluates patient responses, revises care plans as needed, and documents progress accurately.
- Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and promoting participation in care.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with the healthcare team for seamless care transitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), with a valid RN license.
- Minimum of one year RN experience or completion of a recognized nurse residency program; LPN experience may be accepted for internal candidates.
- Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
