We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients, aiming to enhance their functional abilities and promote independence within the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, range of motion, and coordination.
- Designing and fabricating adaptive equipment, splints, and assistive devices as prescribed.
- Offering consultation on environmental modifications, proper positioning, and use of adaptive tools.
- Training patients in self-care skills, prosthetic use, and home management techniques.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and progress reports.
- Participating in assessments and home evaluations to support patient needs.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing.
- Preferred experience of at least one year.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Ability to utilize tools for fabricating adaptive equipment.
