Role Overview:
The Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. They collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver direct patient care in a Level 2E NICU setting
– Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and team members
– Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
– Participate in patient care planning and evaluation
Qualifications & Skills:
– Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
– Minimum 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience preferred
– Active Illinois RN licensure
– Current BLS certification
– Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire
Key Duties:
– Provide patient-centered nursing care during night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
– Maintain documentation and compliance with policies
– Contribute to a collaborative team environment
