Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a specialized Acute Care (Med-Surg) setting within the Transplant Medicine Unit. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver evidence-based, high-quality care, prioritizing patient safety and wellness. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes and mentors new healthcare staff. Works in a fast-paced, innovative environment, embracing new knowledge and best practices.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process
– Support team-based, patient-centered care
– Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
– Precept and mentor new team members
– Engage in evidence-based practice and continuous learning
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduation from an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor’s degree
– Current RN licensure
– Minimum 6 months of RN experience
– BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
– Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
