Mammography Technologist – PRN

Role Overview

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Breast Center department. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations, to support diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree or trade school training
  • Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES, and IEMA (excluding MRI)
  • Preferred: < 2 years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certifications
  • Ability to perform advanced imaging modalities like mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and bone density scans

  • Key Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in adult and pediatric patients
  • Ensure quality control and proper operation of imaging equipment
  • Work independently in various settings, including portable exams and on-call situations
