Role Summary:
Provides direct patient care in a specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Models proficiency through precepting new staff and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver top of scope nursing practice in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support specialty education and competency validation with clinical educators.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification; relevant life support certifications as required.
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience; Chemotherapy Immunotherapy ONS within 1 year preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills in acute care settings.
