Registered Nurse – Cardiac Recovery

Role Overview: The Cardiac Prep Recovery Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Active RN license required.
  • Educational background includes Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of experience is preferred, with cardiac experience highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are essential.
