Role: Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity oncology unit, specializing in leukemia and stem cell transplant patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. Address physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Ensure effective communication across care continuum and participate in professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
RN license required; BSN or ADN accepted. No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
