Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, responsible for delivering high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
- Providing patient-centered care tailored to individual needs and cultural diversity.
- Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education.
- Ensuring safe, quality care through documentation, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Engaging in professional development, mentoring, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Promoting evidence-based practices, participating in research, and adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.
- Supporting resource management and developing protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications include:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and critical thinking skills.
