Occupational Therapy Team Leader
Role Overview: Lead and coordinate the occupational therapy team, assisting with daily operations, scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, focusing on personalized, compassionate rehabilitation to help patients achieve their recovery goals. Celebrate patient progress and foster a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support therapy operations and team management.
- Deliver patient-centered care, understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and communication within the therapy team.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients to promote recovery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current state licensure or certification.
- CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in occupational therapy or leadership, including two years of clinical practice.
- Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or hold specialty certifications (preferred).
