Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a care delivery team in multiple locations in NY.
Responsibilities include:
Providing direct and telephone nursing care following established standards
Coordinating with care team members to ensure seamless patient care and participation in planning
Assisting physicians with clinical procedures and patient education
Supervising non-licensed staff such as medical assistants and clerical personnel
Obtaining prior authorizations for medications and tests
Maintaining inventory logs for medications, vaccines, and equipment
Administering medications and educating patients on their use
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Current NYS license and registration in good standing
Preferred Skills:
CPR/BLS certification
1+ years of LPN experience or 2+ years as a medical assistant
Experience with EPIC EMR system
