Role: Respiratory Therapist (RT), providing direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties.
Responsibilities: Deliver respiratory care, consult with physicians, ensure therapy effectiveness, and utilize respiratory care devices. Flexibility in shift and hours, with no weekend or holiday requirements, and opportunities for day or night shifts with incentives.
Qualifications: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT). PALS and ACLS certifications required for ER roles. Minimum of one year of relevant experience. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
Preferred Skills: Critical care experience is advantageous.
