We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation efforts in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering rehabilitative services to patients
- Help patients perform exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility
- Observe, document, and report patient progress
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and equipment use
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain clean treatment areas and adhere to safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of one year of experience in the role
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and principles
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and equipment handling
