Seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical Unit in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, and case managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
- Current valid North Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Preferred: One year of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
