Radiation Therapist (Brachy)

Role Overview: This position involves performing patient treatments using ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role includes preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, completing treatment processes, and coordinating scheduling. It offers opportunities for cross-training and utilizing advanced radiation therapy technologies, including HDR treatments and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures
  • Administer precise and consistent radiation treatments
  • Complete treatments and coordinate patient scheduling
  • Assist physicians with procedures and prepare supplies
  • Administer radiopharmaceutical treatments and provide patient education
  • Utilize advanced treatment techniques and imaging technologies

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program
  • Board Certified by ARRT (RT(T))
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred
