**Key responsibilities include:**

– Providing first-level supervision, patient assignments, and clinical support
– Mentoring new staff and participating in performance reviews
– Assessing patient/family needs, developing care plans, and adjusting care accordingly
– Delegating tasks to optimize outcomes
– Ensuring compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
**Qualifications include:**
– 2-year degree and current Kansas RN licensure
– BLS certification within 14 days of hire
