We are seeking an experienced Medical Director with a background in Cardiology, Nephrology, or Primary Care to lead an integrated clinical care model focused on primary care coordination and specialty collaboration.
The role involves providing clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse case managers, to ensure seamless patient care and improve outcomes by reducing hospitalizations, emergency visits, and readmissions.
Key responsibilities include leading team-based care, supervising providers, promoting equitable access, and supporting strategic growth through network development and care pathway optimization. The position offers a structured 4-day workweek with protected administrative time for leadership, quality oversight, and team feedback.
Qualifications include an MD or DO with board certification in a relevant specialty, active medical license, and at least two years of clinical leadership experience. Strong knowledge of managed care, quality metrics, and population health, along with excellent communication skills, are preferred.
