Performs computerized tomographic (CT) procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training from a CAHEA-approved school.
- Meeting ARRT certification requirements.
- Preferably at least one year of radiologic technologist experience.
- Current ARRT registration and Florida state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must pass the ARRT advanced exam for CT certification within one year of employment as a CT Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
Key duties involve: Conducting CT scans independently, applying professional judgment and technical skills to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
