Join our team as a full-time, night shift Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, responsible for coordinating safe patient care for diverse populations under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager.
Key duties include assessing patient and family needs, developing and updating care plans to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs, and delegating tasks to optimize outcomes. The RN adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications include current Kansas RN licensure, an associate’s degree in nursing, and required certifications such as BLS within 14 days of hire. ACLS is necessary for specific units, and oncology certification for post-surgery care, with all certifications completed within the first year.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, recent healthcare experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
