Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings.
Key Duties:
Performing ventilator management, airway management, and arterial blood gas analysis.
Collaborating with healthcare team to plan and execute patient care.
Providing patient, family, and staff education, mentoring, and support.
Ensuring safe, quality care by promoting accurate documentation, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices.
Participating in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed.
Supporting performance improvement initiatives and adhering to policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS (required at hire).
0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare databases.
