Position Overview
- Department: Cath Lab
- Work Location: UAB St. Vincent’s
- Shifts: Full-time day shift with call responsibilities or PRN day shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess discharge needs and collaborate with healthcare team for patient planning.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification within 30 days, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing prior to hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at hire.
