Dialysis Program Manager Registered Nurse – RN

Role Overview:

Manages the delivery of quality home therapy patient care while ensuring cost-effective and compliant operations. Provides leadership, coaching, and supervision to interdisciplinary teams, overseeing staffing, training, and performance. Responsible for program growth, operational results, and adherence to policies and regulations. Ensures safe, effective patient care from admission to discharge, including assessments, treatment plans, education, and troubleshooting. Collaborates with physicians and internal departments to optimize patient outcomes and program efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate home therapy programs, managing costs, quality, and staffing.
  • Direct patient care activities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee patient education, treatment planning, and equipment training.
  • Participate in strategic planning, quality improvement, and program growth initiatives.
  • Maintain facility safety, environmental standards, and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, facilitate meetings, and resolve patient issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed RN with current state licensure, with advanced education preferred.
  • Minimum of one year nursing and six months dialysis experience.
  • 3+ years supervisory or program management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent in operating home dialysis equipment and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work full-time with on-call availability, CPR certified, and meet color vision requirements.
