Role: Registered Nurse in hospice care, responsible for providing patient-centered care and support within a flexible, weekend-only schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing assessments of patients’ physical and psycho-social status Develop and adjust care plans collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Group, patients, families, and physicians Educate patients and families, manage pain and symptoms, and evaluate responses to treatments Ensure availability of necessary equipment, supplies, and medications Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IDG meetings
Qualifications & Skills:
Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan Minimum of one year of relevant RN experience CPR certification Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance Preferred: management and home health experience, Medical-Surgical background
