Role Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant provides essential support for patient care by accurately entering data, including patient registration, insurance verification, and billing charges. They assist healthcare providers such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with patient scheduling, phone communications, and informing patients about their benefits.
Ensure accurate data entry for charges, registration, and insurance records.
Verify insurance coverage and record relevant statistics.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, licensed personnel, and third-party payers.
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating professionalism and a caring attitude.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
BLS certification required.
Prior medical office experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM.
