Role: Registered Nurse in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a major hospital, providing direct patient care for a diverse range of surgical and critical care patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on post-treatment management and medication administration.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual patient needs.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
- Additional: Critical care experience is preferred; strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
