Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care within established nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Promotes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and medication administration. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and respecting patient values and cultural considerations. This safety-sensitive position requires alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN licensure, and preferably a Bachelor’s degree with less than two years of experience. No supervisory experience is required.
