Role: Inpatient Occupational Therapist providing rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to help patients regain or improve their functional independence.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Communicate and educate patients, families, and caregivers on self-care and daily routines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Establish positive relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program.
- Current state licensure and NBCOT registration.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
