Emergency Department Clinical Nurse – (Nights)

Role: The ER Nurse provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure effective treatment and support for patients and families.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards.
  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and contribute to professional development.
  • Develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and barriers.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.


Qualifications:

  • RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.
  • No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher education candidates.
  • Experience in ER or EMT is preferred.
