The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department assesses, plans, and manages patient care across all stages, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides primary and emergency care, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff, ensuring quality standards are met.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Minimum 1-3 years ED experience in a Level I Trauma setting preferred.
Works night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center with specialized zones, trauma, pediatrics, and rapid care areas.
Must adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain sensitive information security.
