Role Overview: Provides comprehensive pediatric and neonatal critical care transport services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment needs, and medications. Promotes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Communicates care plans across care settings and evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and cultural factors.
Qualifications & Skills: RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing and less than two years of experience. Prior experience in pediatric transport, ICU, ER, or neonatal ICU is preferred. Critical nursing skills, safety awareness, and ability to work in alertness are essential.
