Geri Psych (RN) (FT) (ROTATE)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care involving assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents individualized care plans with goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Communicates care plans effectively across the continuum of care.
  • Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.

  • Qualifications:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.

  • Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills; ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
