Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety and quality compliance. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Maintains alertness and safety as a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications:
- RN license required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for bachelor’s degree holders
- Critical care experience preferred
