The Clinical Nurse supports a compassionate environment by providing patient-centered care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care per policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and patient responses, applying sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Requires strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
