Role: X-Ray Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and care.
- Key Duties: Perform quality radiographic exams, identify anatomical landmarks, ensure proper image identification, and operate related equipment.
- Greet patients, obtain medical history, and provide a positive patient experience by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain safety standards, including radiation protection and sterile techniques.
- Observe patient vital signs and monitor during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ARRT ethics, HIPAA, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team, provide mentorship to new hires, and contribute to efficient outpatient operations.
- Review and submit diagnostic-quality images, perform quality assurance, and communicate pertinent data to radiologists and caregivers.
- Maintain certifications, participate in professional development, and uphold cleanliness of exam areas.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, ARRT certification, proficiency with computerized systems, and ability to follow instructions. Preferred: associate or bachelor’s degree in radiography or related field, 1+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
