This role is a PRN nursing position offering a flexible schedule with a tiered pay structure based on experience and shift volume, including shift differentials for nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide independent, routine, and complex patient care within the clinical setting.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects, and document patient information.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers, and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Make appropriate clinical decisions and manage contingencies effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within a specified period.
- Completion of onboarding, orientation, and annual competency requirements.
- Ability to attend orientation and participate in residency or specialty programs as needed.
