Role Overview: A licensed registered nurse with clinical experience independently providing routine and complex patient care in a specialized setting. Demonstrates proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions aligned with standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
- Delegate and assign tasks to care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.
- Address patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Continuously develop clinical skills, manage contingencies, and contribute to team leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant nursing specialty preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or via compact, with BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required.
- Completion of organizational onboarding, orientation, and competency validation.
- Experience in perioperative or operating room setting preferred.
- Ability to assess, educate, and adapt care to patient needs.
