Role Overview:
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care activities for quality outcomes. The role emphasizes professional growth and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s preferred
New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
Current Georgia RN license or multistate license
BCLS certification required; relevant specialty certifications as applicable
Additional certifications may be required based on clinical area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy)
Ability to coordinate care, demonstrate professionalism, and adapt to various clinical settings
Key Duties:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
