We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process.
- Responsibilities include: conducting in-person disability assessments, reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and accurately documenting findings on required VA forms.
- This role does not involve: treatment or medication prescribing; disability determinations are made by the VA.
- Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Skills needed: strong analytical, time management, and electronic documentation abilities, with a professional and empathetic demeanor when engaging with Veterans.
- Key duties: performing assessments for approximately four Veterans per day, reviewing records, and completing documentation using provided equipment.
